Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the provision of services by Premier Property Solutions (SE) Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”) to clients (“you”, “the client”). By instructing us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations and Estimates

  • Written quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
  • Estimates are not fixed prices. Where work cannot be fully assessed before commencement, we will provide an estimate and advise you of any significant variation before proceeding.
  • Additional work discovered during a job that was not included in the original quotation will be agreed with you before being carried out, except in genuine emergency situations where work is required to prevent further damage.
  • Quotations are based on conditions visible at the time of survey. Hidden defects discovered during work may affect the final price.

3. Access and Client Responsibilities

  • You must ensure we have safe and suitable access to the property to carry out the agreed works.
  • Where tenant access is required, you are responsible for ensuring the tenant is aware and access is arranged.
  • Abortive visits where access cannot be gained may be charged at the applicable call-out rate.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the property is safe for our workers to enter and carry out work.

4. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • For larger projects, staged payment schedules will be agreed before work commences.
  • Late payments may be subject to interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
  • We reserve the right to suspend services where invoices remain unpaid beyond the agreed payment terms.

5. Workmanship Guarantee

  • We guarantee all workmanship for a period of 12 months from completion, unless otherwise stated.
  • This guarantee covers defects in our workmanship and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party interference.
  • Manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment are in addition to our workmanship guarantee and are subject to the manufacturer's terms.
  • Any defect must be reported to us promptly on discovery.

6. Liability

  • Our liability to you is limited to the value of the work carried out under the relevant contract.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of rental income, unless caused by our negligence.
  • We carry public liability insurance of £5 million. Certificates are available on request.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Cancellation

  • You may cancel a booking with at least 24 hours' notice at no charge.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a charge equivalent to one hour of the applicable rate.
  • For consumer contracts, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, except where work has commenced with your agreement.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
